RavenFind is an independent, privacy-first web search engine. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you use RavenFind, what we deliberately do not do, and the third parties involved in returning your search results.

1. Who we are

RavenFind is operated by Nexus International Ventures Ltd ("RavenFind", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands (BVI Company No. 2184468), with registered office at Craigmuir Chambers, Road Town, Tortola, VG1110, British Virgin Islands. For privacy matters, we are the data controller for the limited information described below.

2. Information we handle

RavenFind is designed to be lean. The information involved when you use the service includes:

• Search queries. The words you type are sent, in real time, to our search provider (Google Programmable Search) so that relevant results can be returned to you. RavenFind does not require you to sign in, and we do not attach your queries to a personal account or identity, because there is no account.
• Standard technical data. Like virtually all websites, our hosting and security providers automatically process basic request data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamps. This is used to serve the page, keep the service secure, and prevent abuse.
• Aggregate usage analytics. We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand overall traffic and performance (for example, how many people visited a page). This is used in aggregate and is not used to build an advertising profile of you.
• Preferences stored on your device. Your light/dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser (local storage). It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

3. What we don't do

• We do not require an account, email, or sign-up to search.
• We do not build a personal or advertising profile of you to follow you around the web.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not offer, sell, or arrange any financial product or service.

We avoid making absolute or unverifiable privacy promises. Instead, we are transparent: because RavenFind returns results from a world-class index, your query is necessarily processed by that provider, as explained below.

4. How search results work

RavenFind presents web and image results from a world-class search index — Google Programmable Search — under the RavenFind experience. When you search, your query is transmitted to Google to generate results. That processing is governed by Google's own privacy terms. We surface this openly so you can make an informed choice.

5. Third-party services

To run RavenFind, we rely on a small number of reputable service providers, which may process limited data on our behalf or under their own terms:

• Google Programmable Search — to generate web and image search results from your query.
• Hosting & content delivery — to deliver the website and protect it against abuse.
• Analytics — to measure aggregate traffic and performance.

Each third party processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of Google for the search functionality.

6. Cookies & local storage

RavenFind keeps on-page cookie use minimal. We use local storage to remember your theme preference. Our search provider and analytics or security services may set their own cookies or use similar technologies as part of delivering results and protecting the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Retention & security

We keep technical and aggregate data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymise it. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Because RavenFind operates without accounts and minimises the personal data it handles, we may have little or no information that identifies you. 9. Children

RavenFind is a general-purpose search tool intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A safe-search filter is available to help filter explicit content.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of RavenFind after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
